I can't possibly say enough about how GREAT this place and JAN BOYCE are!!! After having a BAD experience starting off with Al-Con, I started over here. The instructor is the just the BEST! The classes are so very educational, while given in a comfortable environment. Doesn't feel like a class, but a meeting, where everyone gets to know and cares for each other. Jan is a kind and caring person, and you can't help but like her immediately. And she genuinely cares for us as well. Having been in and out of AA and different forms of required classes (such as TASC), I found it so refreshing to actually LEARN SOMETHING I didn't know. And that's just what happens here...it became something to which I looked forward, never dreaded. I just completed my 40 hours, but will continue to go back from time to time, simply because I enjoyed it. There is another person in my group who still goes, and he completed his hours a couple of months ago. Our class is held in a big comfy room with sofas and Jan keeps a full candy dish for us as well...a nice touch. The office is a busy place, so when you call, you MUST LEAVE A MESSAGE!!! Someone ALWAYS calls you back. While it might be typical not to always get an answer when you call, that's simply because they are busy. But one of them will always call you back. Theresa, John, or Jan. They make a great team, and I would refer anyone here in a heartbeat. I can't imagine going anywhere else. If you are required to get an alcohol assessment, the best thing you can do for yourself is CALL ACDM!!!!
